Why have an international day of prayer for the persecuted church? Every day in more than 60 countries, more than 200 million men, women and children face discrimination, persecution and even death for loving Jesus Christ. What, above all else, do they ask of us? Please pray for us!
In the dark places of the earth, the Cross of Christ and your intercessory prayers for the persecuted church still work wonders in the hearts of believers as they determine to serve the Lord regardless of the sacrifice or the price they have to pay. They endure prison, torture and persecutions of all kinds... because of Chrst`s love in their hearts.
The harvest truly is plentiful and the time of suffering for many of God`s people is at hand, but we know what the outcome will be. So let`s make everything we do count as we have the privilege of ministering to Him and to His suffering body in the earth today.
